Delete your PeekaSpeak account
You can delete your family account and all of your children's data at any time.
In the app (fastest)
- Open PeekaSpeak on the phone you signed up with.
- Go to the parent area (For grown-ups) and open Settings.
- Tap Delete account and all data and confirm.
Without the app
Email privacy@peekaspeak.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my PeekaSpeak account". We may reply to confirm you own the account, then we delete it within 10 business days and email you when it's done.
What gets deleted
- Your family account, email address and sign-in.
- Every child profile: names, birth month and year, setup answers.
- All learning progress: games played, ratings, stars, streaks and firsts.
- Linked tablets and any family sharing links.
- Our subscription provider's record of your family.
Everything is removed from our server right away, and from encrypted backups within 30 days. Photos and recordings were never on our server; they stay on your device until you delete the app.
What we can't delete
Apple and Google keep their own records of purchases made through their stores. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings so you aren't charged again.
